2023 Quality in Construction Award

Project: North Aurora Road

Geneva Construction won the award for its work on North Aurora Rd. in Naperville, Ill. The company rebuilt the road with asphalt binder and surface courses, incorporating fractionated reclaimed asphalt pavement (FRAP) into the mixes. This is a sustainable paving practice that conserves virgin materials and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Using echelon pavers to minimize longitudinal joints, Geneva Construction produced a smooth, high-quality asphalt road.
